A message from the organisers, Scott and Cecilia

We love hurdy gurdies, we love hurdy gurdy music and we love hurdy gurdy people.

We've run the Hurdy Gurdy Festival for the last five years on a purely voluntary basis from this passion.

The festival is funded purely from ticket sales and the odd donation. We just about cover the artist fees and running costs.

Each year we start with a virtually empty bank account.

We no longer want the stress of wondering whether we have to personally foot the bill to put on the festival,

so if you want to see it continue, please come to this year's event.
